Trailer backup assist setup

2024 Tundra TRD Pro

Does trailer backup assist work if you have a cap on your truck bed. I have a 2024 TRD Pro, with a Smartcap EVOA on the back. This weekend we took our camper out for the first time and tried to use the Trailer Assist Guide but could not get the "blue line" to show up in the first step of setting up the trailer.

At first, I thought this was an issue with my trailer's setup, but after some research I think that Trailer Assist uses both the backup camera and the box camera. And therefore, my Smartcap is the reason this is not working.

Can anyone confirm?
