WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR 3RD GEN TUNDRA TODAY?

Installed my skid plate today. It's a trd clone and required very minimal fitment of the back bolt holes, but it saved me $250 for other mods. It is the same 1/4 inch aluminum which should be fine, as I don't overland or heavy offroad.

 

Agreed, I like the way it fits the Tundra!

 

Here in Virginia we have to pay our personal property tax on our vehicles. My 2024 1794 Limited Edition cost me over $1,500 in tax.

 

sorry have to ask again, are you saying that is the factory 3" lift, or stock 0 lift...man it looks like it sits high.

 

Definitely the 3" lift. You can see the red springs and TRD UCAs

 

What are you having an issue with ? I installed mine and was fairly easy ... which rear window do you have ?? Full slide, center slide ? or no slide ?

 

thats what i thought, just wasn't sure if my eyes were going bad haha.

Picked this up from a fellow member. Can now run over starbucks cups without worry.

 

This happened to me too and I MIGHT have a fix for some of you whose bumper under the headlight is not sitting flush after reassembly. There is a clip for the corner bumper behind the black plastic vent piece (not attached to the vent itself). For me, this was unclipped on my passenger side, and mine looked like those of you on here with the bumper sitting slightly proud.

Pop the vent off, or at least the top half, and make sure this clip is secure. Fixed mine and firmed everything up immediately:

Installed the AJT design center console panel and the oversized cup holder. Much better! Taking the shift knob off was a pain in the @$$ though!

The install video made it look easy removing the shifter. I want to tge oversize cup holder then think to myself why do I need it.

 

Yeah the shifter was kind of a pain. And I love it. I use it for my Yeti now everyday!

 

I’m wondering if you can install bed lights the same way? Kind of bummed out my truck didn’t come with them

If you don't mind me asking, what is the overall height of your Tundra now with the front lift? We have 7' garage doors (I wasn't thinking when we had it built...), and would like to know how much the lift raised the overall height.

Yeah I know! I came from a 2022 Tacoma and it was super easy. There’s not even cut outs or anything for bed lights with this tundra

 

Installed the Beatsonic ETA-2T3 amp/dsp in my '24 Platinum yesterday. Install very straightforward. Huge improvement in sound quality. Worth every penny.

 

Post office finally delivered my other bed storage box, got it installed today. Both sides done, great place for straps, tie downs, rags, etc.
