Very bottom of Tundras paint is defective

$1500 to do that much?

 

The shop did the PPF, ceramic tint on 5 windows, and a 5 year ceramic coating on everything for $2,000.

 

It was an issue with the base coat under the super white paint, they issued a recall and repainted alot of cars. My 09 Corolla had it done a couple years ago after big old flakes started falling off. My 18 tundra has that texture and it's been awesome, I drove on a freshly oiled road and got that crud all over my doors, the texture kept it from sticking.

That's a very, very good price.

 

To be clear, in a post above I said the chip guard is in the paint, it's not. It's applied over the paint.

 

Had my 15 Camry Blizzard Pearl painted this month under that same recall. I had 10 years and it was up this July so just got it done. It was just a couple small spots.
