I’ve never seen one fail but I haven’t waited longer than 100k miles to change it. It’s got a black foam covering over it so you won’t burn your hands.

And remember when testing: never suck, always blow.

Took the truck for a drive after weighting the LCAs and loosening/tightening the cam bolts. Truck is still sitting 1.5-2 inches high in the front.
I’m thinking that the LCAs that were on there are the reason and that could also be the reason my Fox coilovers were having to be cranked down so much. I’m going to back them down this evening before I get an alignment.

I didn't even think of that, but I do have a few different keys and I recently switched to a different key ring for no reason. I'll try the old key.

No, that’s incorrect. You’re supposed to rip out your rear seat and put a couple of these 18” monsters back there.

It is. I think it’s called blue steel metallic. It’s still in good shape too. Only problem is trying to find color matched used parts. I think it was only on 05/06 tundras.

Someone stab the surround while installing the screw?

Seen that a few times in my career. Shop owner wold literally smack you upside the head if you ever tried to install a sub and not block the surround with your hand in peril's way. Which, ultimately, would make you put your driver thru the surround, which then came out of your paycheck.

Man, what I wouldn't give to have that much garage walkaround space and high ceilings.

Yes. This came out of a 2nd gen taco. I only want the 1 10 anyway. I’ll eventually do the AC storage to woofer box mod.

Like you, I have kids. I’m not putting a box in place of the back seat.

I just noticed those garage door panels are WINDOWS! Look at all that natural light, that's bad ass. (If you are in a low crime area... uh, and can keep the space looking presentable hahaha)

OH, and the camera lens make those tires look FAT/Wide o_O:D

@bmf4069 am I doing it right?

Toyota blues are awesome 7/10. It's the remaining few Toyota blues that are either too green, too purple, or too navy. I don't care for those as much. I'm a sucker for all the light blues Toyota makes, much like the blue steel metallic. Blues with a bit of white or silver.
I have a 10" kicker in Penelope and I can confirm, it is plenty, if not too much bass for an AC if you listen to mostly rock. I keep mine at like -4dB

I use this on my uniballs as well as spray it all over my shock bodies/coilovers. It’s a shame they don’t make it anymore. Stuff is incredible

I have a 12" Kicker CompVR subwoofer in a Skar SPL enclosure. It sounds great but takes up half the back seat. And the passenger seat holds it in place.

Got around to mounting a switch panel today. Built a custom bracket for the control box

I don't20240206_171921.jpg have any pics of my box. It's a skinny truck style box. I did the rear seat delete and hung a sheet of plywood across the back wall inside the cab. Some day I'm going to sound deaden and carpet the wood. But for now my sub box and fire extinguisher mount are bolted to it.

Looks good. What all are you using the switch panel for?

Sun Valley probably isn't any more low crime than anywhere else, but it's white-collar crime. Finance, corporate crime, all that. :) Don't need to worry so much about your tools.

Yeah those tires look unnaturally wide.

If we all had an evaluation of our livers (and other organs exposure) I bet breathing a few fumes would be the least of our worries
