@mallen88 Eric, great news!! I was able to get rid of the hyper flash on mytruck this morning. With a 16 year model truck, limited, TRD OR you have to have both load resistors hooked up to each side of the truck. I had just the passenger side hooked up and I was still getting hyper flash on the passenger side as well as the drivers side.

By hooking up the drivers side as well as the passengers side, my switchbacks work like a charm!!!

I only had to take apart my front end 4 times to get it right but now I know.

NO MORE hyper flash brothers!!! :transformer::muscleflexing::benchpress:

Without a schematic I wonder if that would be due to the hazard function of your turn signals. Glad it’s all done.

Eric, I installed resistors in the rear turn signals yesterday afternoon and I believe it fixed my hyper flash issue. It Works properly, for now anyway. **Fingers crossed**

Super stoked I finally got it right.

I ordered these same bulbs and tried installing them last night, but I am not getting any switchback function to them at all. They seem to be always amber colored... Now I haven't installed the resistors yet (I ran out of daylight last night, this maybe my issue) but shouldn't the white still show since they are only supposed to be amber colored when the turn signal is on.

Anthony, you may want to return them. For me, the switchbacks come on and function with the headlights on. Headlights on=switchbacks; headlights off=amber LEDs. There are probably other ones out there from Amazon that are switchbacks all the time. You could always pre-order the Triton V6’s from VLEDs.com, they’re $120 for the pair and their resistors are like $20 per each one, if I remember correctly.

Yeah I understand man and when I ordered the same ones as you did I figured they would function the same way "Headlights on=switchbacks; Headlights off=amber LEDs". My complaint was I'm getting Amber LED on both headlights on and off (no switchback at all). I thought maybe they sent me the wrong thing. I looked at VLED's but I'm not dropping $120 for some DRL lights lol.

A little of this and a little of that.

Try removing the switchbacks, turning them 180 degrees and re-insert them. I had the same issue and that was the fix.

A little of this and a little of that.

Do one at a time to see if it’s onky one LED messing with it but you may have to turn both.

I inquired to the Amazon seller about the bulbs if they had sent me the correct ones. Because when I did order them there was no option to check for CK or non-CK bulbs.

Thank you for contacting us. Does your vehicle have CK sockets? Or does it have standard sockets for our led bulbs?
