In the market for a tonneau cover, however when I selected my year and model truck there were 2 bed length size to choose from. I checked my vehicle information on the Toyota owners website but it does not specify the bed length. I'm stuck.

How do I determine the correct bed length?

    Thanks...

which truck is it for, the 06 double cab? What were the options? The AC is 2" or so longer bed than the DC.

    Yes, the Tundra.

I recall there was about 2 or 3 inches difference in the two selections. I am not home and don't have the specifics at the moment. I am trying to find the information now.

You want the shorter one for the DC

I responded directly to the Knabores question who specifically ask if it was my '06 DC. Also, my vehicle information is in my signature.

Nah. I don't want to chance it, especially because it's such a minor difference in the lengths.

I mean, it does measure to the 16th of an inch. I'm really not sure why you can't measure YOUR bed and then compare it to the dimensions of the tonneau cover you've selected. Am I missing something here?

I've seen the figures of 74.7" for the AC and 74.3" for the DC in several places, which is less than a half inch difference.

Thanks. The website data must be wrong or something because I input that it's a DC bed and they provide 2 options but it seems there should only be 1 option for the DC based on you stating the AC bed is longer.

Thanks for that info. Those are the 2 options I got even though I stated I have the DC bed, so this confirms the website has some bad data. I should've only had the 1 option to choose from. This is why I wanted to confirm the information here rather than relying on doing a measurement. I figured someone here knew the exact measurement.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks

Might wanta try entering again because it’s not in your signature nor your profile.

Never mind....TBM set me straight :)

If it helps, my bed length for 04 DC LTD….77” and excepts an ARE topper very well.

Fun fact, if viewing this forum on a cell phone, you cannot see signatures in portrait orientation. You'll have to turn the phone to landscape orientation to view those.

Perfect. This unequivocally confirms the size of the bed. I will let that company know that they need to fix their website to only show the 1 option for the DC cab. It confused me.

    Big thanks.

To @BubbaW 's point though, your tuck info is not in the vehicle section of your profile. He would not be able to see that from a cell phone either. You put it in the modifications section. See how ours is inside a blue section and yours isn't?

Sounds like you’ve got it figured. I’ve bought covers for 04 and 06 DC. All the sites I shopped will prompt you to choose 6’2” or 6’3” bed even after you select DC. In all cases, mine was the 6’2”. It looks like the vendors are rounding 74.3 for DC down to 6’2” and 74.7 for AC up to 6’3”
