Im going back and forth on staying with current Method 701 black or going with one of the machined wheels here:
    MR315 or RRW RR7
Let me know what you think or if you have other wheel recommendations.
Ignore the 6 lug - they have 5x150 as well.

Both are quality wheels and look great. I'm biased towards the 315s since I used to have a set on my old FJ.

How heavy are they? Looks are great but weight and material are more important especially if you are off roading. To me the best wheel Toyota has ever made for the Tundra is the 2.5 gen TRD Pro BBS wheel. It is lighter, stronger, and better looking than anything they have ever made. BUT, if you are going off looks the one on the left is my pick.

The small holes have a special place in my heart. Reminds me of old school alcoa.

My lady says to get these

Thousands of Methods and RRW wheels out there on off road rigs and never heard of anyone having any problems with them. Advertised weight of the Methods and RRW the OP listed in 17x8.5 are ~27lbs and ~25lbs per wheel, respectively. The new gen forged BBS wheels are over 30lbs per wheel, though I've never weighed one myself to confirm.

OP also never indicated 17" vs 18", so the weight will go up as size goes up.

Thanks. Wheels are 17's and 0 offset. Mostly daily driver to work and some dirt trails. Im getting ready to replace tires and suspension and figured I may as well get new wheels. I really like my 2017 and have rationalized that putting about 8k into it is the way versus getting a new truck. Most likely MR315's / Toyo ATIII or KO3s 285/75/17 , Bilstein 8112/8100, DK UCA. Tried to talk myself into bigger tires and a regear but decided against it due to $$. Im running MR701s with Toyo R/T Trail 285/75/17s now with very minimal performance impact and it looks pretty good.
Maybe I should go with the Teddy Bear wheels but I like the heart wheels too- cant' decide.:notsure:

Don't have these anymore can't remember model but similar. Went to rock warriors. But a pic anyway. I personally liked the machined over the black with darker color paint. I do like darker wheels on the white, beige, lighter color paints.

I was in the same dilemma between those two the methods MR315 or RR7
I ended up pre ordering the RR7 since they were on sale and was saving $348
I was also looking at the Dakar’s but there still sold out and no ETA on shipment .
RRW says shipments should be going out February

I was in the same boat last month, between both those wheels choices. I ended up ordering a set of 315's that are sitting in the garage, and I'm back to debating on whether to install those or keep the stock wheels and just throw bigger tires on them.

I have added these for consideration as well:
O offset with 315/70r17 Toyo ATIII's if I can get em.

I’m leaning towards a set of Raguna JF6 wheels like this with a little less offset. Multiple color options and offsets available.

Im leaning towards Raceline Aeros, they’re 24lbs which is pretty light for their cost. But I like the rhino too. I’ve had 4/5 sets of methods on TRXs and 2500s, great wheels. For me I’d like to keep weight as minimal as possible without dropping 700-800/wheel.

Ended up going with 18" MR315s with 35x12.5r18 Toyo ATIIIs, extremely happy with the setup

I changed my plan. I went in yesterday to get wheels (MR 315) & tires (Toyo AT 35's) and decided to keep my MR 701's and 35's. I used the wheel savings to get King 2.5s fronts with adjusters and new UCA's. Super stoked I went that route. Still love'n those machined wheels though.

Cool cool, I just pulled the trigger on some RS7s in brushed aluminum. Wanted something to pop against the magnetic gray. I’m looking at 35s (Toyo at3) to wrap them in.
