    Hey guys,
Moved to Austin and bought a gas saver to make the trip. The Tundra had sat back in New Mexico since early September until I got it towed to my new place. So it was not driven and hardly ran since then. The battery had died so I charged it up and the truck fired right up, decided to take it to work and within 5 minutes of driving I got these codes thrown. I only noticed the motor being slightly rougher when idling. 0.jpg

Put some dry gas in the tank and fill it up.

Shitty gas. Ethanol is a killer.

Interesting everything points to bank 1, driver's side of the motor and nothing on bank 2 though.

Good point. I still think fresh gas is a good starting point.

At the very least you can swap coils and see if the issue tracks with a bad coil or not.

I'd check all vacuum lines first. Make sure nothing is disconnected. But with how rats love to get into stuff, I'd also be popping out the air filter and checking for signs of rats.

General logic behind my statement: A lot of times if trucks sit, rodents like to nest under the intake, on top of the gas tank, and the air filter box where there's lots of nesting material.

If they did get into the air box, all it takes is a tiny piece of filter material to get jammed in the MAF and it'll cause all kinds of crazy airflow readings for the ECU, and it won't know how much gas to pump, causing misfires.

Likewise, cracked or displaced hosing affecting the natural vacuum the engine makes (and requires) to run properly can cuase misfires, bad idle, etc.

If none of this existed prior to shutting the truck off, that's the first place I'm looking: At anything a rodent would disrupt, anything that could age/crack/pop off, anything that could rot (fuel in the tank, rubber tubing for vacuum lines, grounds, battery leads, battery going bad). Any of that could cause misfiring.
