Back in a Toyota after being misguided for a while, here are pics of my 2011 (I'll add more later but for now, just the rear bumper I built) and my 2024 Platinum TRD OR. Hate not having a V8 but love the power of the v6 hybrid with the performance package.

Lots of people on this forum hop back and forth from Tacoma World. I still talk shit to some of my old buddies over there from time to time...

We went on Saturday the 18th, got there early so it was really rather quiet due to the cold. We left around 1:30-2:00, and it was getting really busy.

This morning was brutal though. This was the temp at work when I got to work at 5:00 but I did see as low as -20F at one point.

I was there for the evening rodeo, got there around 6pm towards the end of the afternoon rodeo so it was clearing out a bit. The windchill made for a brisk walk from the parking lot. Hit -18 on the way home

I'm very happy with the odometer. The gas bill to get there, not so much

The Tundra just moved into second place. All three of these have north of 220k on them, with my T100 being the highest at 240k. It hasn't been doing too much moving lately though.

I feel the pain - but I’d rather pay for fuel than auto repairs.

    200 has 125k, Tundra has 108k, Sequoia at 249.5k.

Absolutely. I'll never own or try to push anything else as far. I traded in a Subaru for my Tundra, but in my life, I've owned 8 Toyota's, and 7 have had 200k+, 2 of which broke 300k. I also just picked up a '02 AC Tundra for my son and I to fix for when he turns 16. Pretty sure she's got a bad transmission. It has 278k on it. Mighty Mouse and Tundra 2.jpg

The first three days of ownership had snow covered roads. They’ve dried out and given me a chance to listen to the SC whine.

Does anyone know of a locksmith where I can take my door and ignition lock cylinder to them and they will rekey? I called a bunch of places but they were all mobile and wanted $200 per lock. Anywhere between fort collins and the springs would work.

(1st gen tundra so no chip or electronics)

For a rekey that seems like a fair price. Can you have a Toyota dealer pull a vin and have a key made? I did that once with a Kawasaki and that was over $100 some 20 plus years ago.

Thanks! I thought it'd be less if I pulled the lock and just handed them over. My son had his keys in his motorcycle and it was stolen so the thief now has the keys to my truck.

My brother is a dealer tech down in Boulder, he's done it both with new cylinders and keys, or re-pinned the cylinders.
