So I have taken this truck in particular to go get aligned about 4 times now in the past 6 months. I have taken it to go get an inspection on the suspension they tell me everything is fine nothing looks wrong. I do drive on bumpy roads because my city hasn’t fixed them but is that enough to always bump it out of place? My steering is pretty difficult and backing up into spots is a nightmare the current mileage is 94550 for a crew max 2wd. What components should I switch out? Please help this is driving me crazy!

Do you happen to have the alignment printout? Maybe a few pictures of your current cam tabs? Suspension? That may help us “steer” you in the right direction. Also for what it’s worth these cam tab gussets may help lock things down for ya.

Yes sir I have the 2 most recent alignments i’ll try to find the papers from the actual Toyota dealer ship once I get home I’m also looking to replace the shocks and controls arms even though there isn’t nothing wrong with them. I just want it how it used to be where there was no resistance and used to move like butter

Id ask if they know if the lower control arm are seized.

I'm positive they are, they just not telling you because the truck can be aligned to spec just using tie rod adjustment.

As our trucks age, the front springs will collapse slightly, thus even giving you more alignment issues.

The only cure is to cut the cam bolts and remove the lower control arms.

New cam bolts and bushings will need to be sourced.

Those numbers are not terrible to be honest. What do they mean by (modified suspension) at the end of your truck info?

Not sure to be honest that’s that’s what they put on the paper.(I’m assuming to void my warranty since they offer 6 month alignment warranty) I am completely stock everything is factory. Besides me having P275/60R20 Goodyears but I have had those on way before I experienced any of these problems

If that’s the case time to start replacing some of that tired 28 year old stuff.

That is true! I took it for an inspection and they hoisted it on the lift took prybars to it asked to look at the U bolts, crossmember and the whole 9 yards but coming here this most definitely would be the case. I’ve babied this truck but yes it’s time to change out these old withered parts.

    It's a 2007. I only think it's 18 years old.
