Brand new here from the DC metro area, I am currently looking for my 1st Toyota and specifically a gen1 Tundra. Mainly, DC 4.7v8 4WD (but open to AC as well if it's in good shape and checks out). I came across the "So you wanna buy a 1st gen Tundra" post by Shifty in looking up info and doing research on specific vehicles I've been eyeing. With so much valuable and helpful info, I decided to join this forum. So far I've taken that info into checking out my first Tundra and test driving it (decided to shy away after poking around the frame, didn't seem too bad but also not great and worth investing in). Looking forward to interacting with everyone and diving into the Tundra realm!

Welcome aboard! Be warned, that thread will save you big time $$$$ and headache. The rest of them will attempt to drain your wallet with mods.

Haha good to know, and yeah it's already helped in steering me clear of seemingly great looking Tundras & deals on the surface/first glance.
