Hello, new to the forum and relatively new owner of a 2006 AC TRD 4wd. It is bone stock with ~175K miles on it.

    Questions
    - Is the bilstein 6112 lift chart accurate?
    - Should I upgrade to aftermarket UCA for 1 inch of lift?
    - Did I miss a thread that this has been already discussed for first gens? I have seen Shiftys posted chart that he updated for AC.

    More context below....

I want to upgrade my suspension to Bilstein 6112. I have scoured high and low on forums, FB, and beyond to try and find any information on if the lift chart that Bilstein provides for 6112s is accurate or if I should expect to get more lift then advertised?

I was going to go with the #3/#1 Stock, #4/#2 .7 lift, or #5/#3 1 inch lift setting. However, the chart does not make sense to me as that #6/#4 setting would lift a DC 1.3 inches and the AC should weigh less. I understand there is more weight distributed to the front with the AC but every other larger vehicle seems to have more lift.

In addition, I am trying to keep this mainly stock and did not want to upgrade UCA but could be convinced with a good argument. I would have just gone with OEM spring and 4600s but seems springs are no longer made for TRD so figured I would just spend the money for a nicer ride.

I planned to swap the backs with 5100s and put in a RAS. I have a Jason hi-rise topper that is always on as well.

I swapped in 6112’s and installed both springs on the bottom clip. Stock height, and i love the ride.
(I did have to rearrange some stuff in the truck to level out the driverside lean.) the truck can float over speedbumps & is planted on rough roads.

Did you use the stock springs or buy preassembled with a 650LB or 700LB spring?

Also curious what you mean by move things around?

No, stock springs dont fit the 6112’s, but i bought a kit with 650lb springs unassembled.

like my tool box, dog platform, fridge, and aux battery are all on the passenger side. I’ve also got a high rise cap on full time.

i got a new phone, so i dont have the pics i used to. I also added jba UCA’s & removed my sway bar. 6112’s dont have any extra travel (5100 rears have an extra 1/2” or so.) also did my lbj’s & cv axles since i was in there. About 150k miles.
