You'll be able to stream music from your phone through the aux input only. Upgrade your head unit and the sky is the limit

Would you consider going this route? Mine is 2015 SR5 4WD. This LCD screen can work with Carplay and I believe Android Auto (never tried myself) wirelessly. I bought it from Amazon for around $50. Need to spend little more for the mount system. But still cheaper and easier? This screen, some require wifi and BT to connect others require BT only. If your phone is capable to connect duo BT like my iPhone, it connects car BT and this device BT simultaneously. So you see map on the screen and audio comes from factory car stereo.
