I have a 2024 Tundra and installed the AMP Power steps through the ODBII sensor port (installed the 2 way splitter so port is free). I am looking at the AMP Override harness and switch. Does anyone know if you can use the harness but instead of the AMP Switch can you use the Factory switch PN 84890-0C010? If so, does anyone know the pin outs? Harness side to Toyota Switch? I mean I could drill a hole for the AMP switch but would love to keep it more "factory looking" if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance. I have been looking everywhere and not been able to find a thread that covers this.

Not sure if you know but the override switch on the Amps is really superfluous and not very useful since the action times out after a few minutes (I don't remember how many) and reverts to auto. I was originally going to get one for my amp steps but then I read how it works. Or doesn't work.

Ahh... interesting. I was getting it mainly for washing the steps or in some cases when parked in certain areas and do not want them to deploy.

To wash them you just put your weight on the step then shut the door. The step will stay down... and revert to auto next time you open the door.

Yeah Thats what I have been doing for washing by hand in warmer months. I hate to use them but my goal was for the carwash during the winter to be able to hit the button and deploy them for washing while I am driving through. It is 20F and below here all week and the salt is insane.
