    What?

I'm confused. There is still a need for a key. All remotes shut off if the key is not in the ignition when you put your foot on the brake to engage drive.

Keyless vehicles need the fob nearby to do the same.

The open the door while truck has been remotely started and truck dies is bull shit!

Well I guess that makes sense. It’s sad that they have to do a CYA at that level. And really I can deal with it. Two snow scrapers, one inside the truck, one out.

I had the same issue w/my first gen... couldn't stand the access cab, suicide door, gotta open the front before you can open the back b.s. functionality :frusty:

Other than that it was super comfortable, almost effortless driving and obviously reliable

Depends on the angle of entry.... it appears to have angled toward the sidewall, so if you've got abrasions/scraping on the inner side wall from the tip of the screw and appear to have compromised the sidewall integrity, then I'd say replace it; if on the other hand, the puncture is clean on the inside I'd be okay w/it

If the inside of the sidewall is clean and you decide to repair, just use what is called a 'performance tire' patch, which is designed for speed rated tires and per industry standards (at least a long time ago) would allow the tire to maintain its speed/performance rating...

They basically look like a combo plug/patch, so you have redundancy in the repair by having a plug through the hole and a properly installed patch on the inside, if that makes sense...

First image I could find to give you an idea...

    Not nearly enough.
Expanding foam the entire inside of the tire cavity, and then half a tube of silicone over the top just to be sure. (The duct tape won't hurt though.)
Saw it on TikTok so it must be the right way.

Seriously, I'd be fine plugging that (done correctly) and wouldn't lose a minute of sleep over it.

That would be sweet, but I'd have to have someone unmount and mount (twss) the tire knowing I'm patching a questionable puncture... :monocle:

    Good Lord

Just take it down to your nearest tire shop, and ask them to repair it...

If they say no, then ask them to just remove the tire from the wheel for you; then take it home and fix it; then take it to a different tire shop and tell them you're putting a full size spare on a wheel you got off FBMP, and have them mount and balance it up....

I did send an email to wunderground.com to see if they will take their rainbow dial down because my buddy thought it was offensive.

they sent me back a link to this.
