So, I’ve got a 2016 with just the one generic “low presssure” light on the dash. Is there any way to tell which tire it’s talking about? I’m guessing no without aftermarket stuff…

Well, you could put a pressure gauge on each one and see which one is low, short of that, I would fun it down to a tire place they should be able to help diagnose

I figured the tire pressure gauge option. :D

I was just being lazy and wondering if I could avoid crouching at each tire in the rain.

My 2017 worked the same way. Just the single light on the dash and you'd have to check the pressure on each tire to figure out which one was low unless it was obvious visually. Added an aftermarket head unit (Alpine ILX-F511) and now I can see the actual tire pressure at each corner as well as the tire temperature.

Yeah, that’s the solution I did with my old 4Runner. I’m guessing that’s going to be the eventual answer here too.

If you don’t mind me asking, how does this work exactly?

The head unit reads it through the Maestro interface unit.

What’s it called? As in what do I need to look for in the description when looking for a new unit?

Maestro is an interface unit that ties into your aftermarket head unit to allow the steering wheel controls to work with it.

I’ve programmed a couple them before, but that doesn’t mean that all head units are capable, correct? I’d assume there’s certain head units capable of reading diagnostics?
