I have a good transmission out of a 2006 double cab 2wd. Truck had 130k miles on it and was a well cared for one owner vehicle. I have the vin and probably a carfax for the truck it came out of. $500 cash and can be picked up in College Station, Texas. Will not ship it for obvious reasons. I also have the motor from this truck and am asking $1200. Don't have any pictures of it, but will get some and make a separate post. IMG_4331.jpg IMG_4332.jpg IMG_4333.jpg IMG_4334.jpg

Does anyone know if there's a way to hook this transmission up with a 2000 model 4.7 4x4? I was hoping to upgrade transmission when I start rebuilding my 2000

For some reason, I don't think so. Junkyards list and sell them separately as 2wd or 4wd specific. Seems odd to me, but is my best guess. I also don't think this will work on a 2000. I would look for a 2003 transmission to upgrade yours. I can keep an eye out for one if you want.

Thank ya. I'm not in a hurry to find one as I haven't even started the project yet but I've just started slowly collecting parts. My 06 gets most of the truck money at the moment.

Pretty sure the tail shaft just has to be swapped in order to use it in 4wd trucks. Not sure how the harnesses are pinned between the two though.
