Soft tonneau covers and security, suggestions needed

I'm looking for a budget (under $250) soft roll back tonneau cover for my 2022 Tundra Platinum crewmax w/ 5.5ft bed.

I understand these soft type covers arent lockable, but are most of them designed so that its very difficult to open the cover with the tailgate closed and locked?
I'd love some reccomendations/feedback on soft roll back tonneau covers (in my price range) that have worked well for folks here.

Rough Country soft trifold for about $200, easy to open and close. No Velcro sides to deal with like many roll type have. Tailgate needs to be opened to undo. Obviously, a box cutter can make quick work of that. But out of site, out of mind for the watchers and keeps everything perfectly dry. I have liked mine so far this winter.

 

Check out the Gator SRX Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover. As long as your tailgate is closed and locked, there is no access to the tonneau cover. The hook and loop fasteners along the rails keep the cover secured along the bed, and the heavy-duty rear trigger latches keep it securely closed at the tailgate.

 

I've been looking for something like the OP stated too! I've had the Lomax and MX4 on previous trucks and realized, in general, I never leave anything back there. It ultimately would be if we go on a road trip, or to get tools from point A to Point B without being exposed to the elements. Or for massive Costco runs so nothing flys out, lol.

This one seems to hit those buckets...happy with it? On sale right now too, so even better.
