Recently a failure occurred in my rear diff in my 2010 5.7 with the pin(pic added). I’m installing a powertrax grip pro, and I’m wanting to replace the diff carrier bearings while I’m in there. Called local yota dealer today to get part number(with VIN) of 90366-A0020 which when I reference on any site I.E Advance/Oreillys/AZ with my VIN punched in it shows bearings that are “exact fit” but they also say for 9.5” ring when it’s the 10.5” I already purchased a mini install kit and just wanted to purchase the bearings separately trying to save money. So I’m a little confused and any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated!

I believe the 9.5" rear ring gear was on the 4.0 V6 models and maybe the 4.7 V8 models also.

@Mdl did you just buy bearings for the rear? Or a full install kit.

These, as well as the 4.6 V8. Basically everything except the 5.7, which got the 10.5.

I have the worst time getting bearings, u joints, and seals from any parts supplier. I swear, no matter how hard I try to find the right part number, it's never the right part. I find it easiest to simply bring the part for verification, if feasible, and simply say 'here, find one of these'.

I don't know if the bearings are the same on the 10.5 and 9.5 carriers. Perhaps @Jowett knows. Here is his list of part numbers for the rear differential:

    138

I suspect you can cross reference the correct bearings somewhere in there.

I bought a full install kit the BCA kit. I found one on Rock auto for under $200. It had koyo and skf bearings. There is one on summit for $286. You can search nbdrk 382 without shims or add the mk for master kit. It was cheaper than the dealership or online parts deal.

The 9.5 and 10.5 are different.
I couldn't get the bearings at impex but ayamaya had the front bearings except the pinion tail bearings. I cherry picked the bearings and just bought a front mini kit on ebay for $65.

I believe the 4.6L and 5.7L share the same axle housing so bearings will be the same. 5.7 just has a larger ring gear. Which makes sense because the 4.6 holds a little more rear diff fluid to account for smaller ring gear taking up less space

The carrier/pinion bearings are different. I believe the 9.5 came with the 4.0/4.6/4.7.
    9.5 carrier bearings 90366-A0008 vs 10.5 90366-A0020.

The 32010 bearing is for 9.5 as it cross references to the 90366-A0008 bearing. Oreillys/Napa couldn't cross-reference the 10.5 carrier bearing for me. I won't go to AZone...

I appreciate the help guys, I called the Toyota dealer today and gave them the
90366-A0020 part number and they ordered them for me. Hopefully everything is correct and not for a 9.5”. That’s what was confusing me, everything I searched was referencing the 9.5” ring gear on the other sites when I’ve measured and know mine is the 10.5” for certain and have read that most if not all the 5.7’s are 10.5. So that threw me for a loop seeing “exact fit” I asked the part guy at Toyota if he could see if it clarified it was for sure for the 10.5” and he said it didn’t show measurements. Just hate ordering the wrong stuff. So we shall see lol, thanks again.

Your frame number tells alot about what you have. The A0020's are the carrier bearings for the 10.5.
