Sorry if this is covered already, I couldn't find it. I have a 2025 1794, had a rock send a crack ¾ across my windshield. Have any of you had a windshield replaced and had any issues, wind noise etc? Going to replace it with OEM, not aftermarket, yeah only 2800 miles.

Did you try searching using the word "windshield"? There's quite a few threads. Here's one.

I'm on my third windshield, 20k miles. The glass is a magnet for rocks and chips easily.

OEM toyota glass is PRICEY. I have had good luck with aftermarket stuff as well safelight or other local glass companies,

just throwing that out there, also most insurance plans cover this without a claim and increased premiums, may want to check yours

Make sure that you get the right glass, some trim levels have acoustic glass for the windshield, I believe yours should.

I'm going aftermarket glass for my next replacement. Everyone said go OEM and they all have cracked so easily.

5 days in and rock destroyed my 2025 windshield. You will come to realize that most big glass companies wont even have the option for a 2025 tundra in their system and they cannot calibrate it for the safety features. So my recommendation to you is, call the parts department at a Toyota dealership and ask what company does the most windshield business with them. I did it, found the name, called them and it was awesome! Insurance covered the "OEM" windshield and the dealership required calibration. It will take a a week or two for the windshield to come in. Paid my deductible and was back on the road in less then 4 hours. Most of my driving is done on the interstate and I have a fear anytime im next to a semi haha.

    - Strongly recommend you do not use safelite for this issue; I wasted a month with them and ended up receiving a 2025 Camry window because thats all that was listed in the system for a 2025 Toyota.

Safelite replaced mine with OEM glass. It's pricey for sure. $1500. My new glass doesn't seem to be as clear as the original though. At sunset, I can see what looks like little glass fibers in it with the sun at low angle
