I recently installed the Rough Country power boards on my 2020 1794 CM. First off, the instructions are horrible & there is not much info on Youtube for reference. After laying everything out, I was able to figure out the installation. I did have to extend the white wire for the passenger side step as it was not long enough. The left rear motor mounting slots will not let me adjust the boards for a close fit on the drivers side. I sent the pics to RC & waiting on a reply. The passengers side fits snug & looks great when retracted. I am happy with the steps & never noticed the magnets on the door. There is also a delay so when I close the front door I have time to open the back door without the boards retracting. The lights will need to be tested over time but seem cheap. Overall, the seem to be built well & there is no flexing.

Is there a reason why you got these instead of the AMP Research power boards ? Just curious as I have the AMP boards and would not buy them again unless they have improved their products..

The main reason was price & dual motors.

The dual motors on each side is a big plus. Thanks

Did you have a hard time hiding the wires ? I purchased a set of steps for myself and installed them. Had a hard time 100% hiding the wires.

It was a little tough, but not to bad. Does your driver side step have a bigger gap than the passenger's side?

Nope, the spacing is equal on both sides. Only issue I have is my lights don’t turn on at all on my passenger side. Wondering what it could be.

Wish my AMP steps had dual motors, I think they would still be functional... .. It's a constant battle to keep them working , especially in winter..
