    Hi thanks in advance,

I got my dad's 2012 Toyota Tundra SR5. He had seat heaters installed, but they no longer work. I have spent too much time taking stuff apart, but learned a lot about the truck. Anyway, the seat heater for both driver and passenger seats appear to be aftermarket, and they were being powered off a yellow wire in the harness that runs along the door jams. The yellow wire is completely dead now. I can't figure out what it is for, but the only thing not working in rear passenger door is the speaker. (lock and window are working)

This is a two parter: 1) what is the yellow wire used for? 2) what is the best wire to use in this truck to power seat heaters?
