I think those are a killer package/look. In 20 years these probably will have a nice value and significance. Really a good look, reminiscent of some of the special 80’s packages, which seems to be en vogue with the Instagram/Overlander people.

This Canadian Rally package is much less equipped than the US one unfortunately

Welcome to the Rally club though

I drive a 17 Limited, so no dog in his fight, but my understanding of the Pro is that the suspension is the whole point. Thats what the price difference is about. The appearance stuff is there to advertise the capability, like the Hemi stripes on an old Cuda or Challenger. Having a few of the appearance features doesn't make a "poor man's pro". Now a truck with the pro suspension but lacking all the pro tattoos and other appearance items could definitely be called that. YMMV.

I don't think that is the point of it, The FOX shocks are cool but I lost interest when they went to 8-10k a whole set for take offs. Now I realize the Tundra shocks are the base fox shocks like 1.5s or 2.0s but still they are expensive to rebuild and expensive to maintain.

A whole set of Billsteins can be had for a grand or 1.2k. They ride a little firmer but I do not really think the Fox shocks are worth it these days. I would much rather have a Platinum than a TRD PRO.

No fight here, just trying to help people understand the Rally package better since Toyota didn't do the best job.

Some people are calling it a sticker package and I'm calling it more than that. Poor mans Pro is subjective but seems reasonable.

Perhaps Semi-Pro will suit it better...

Wouldn't "Poor man's TRD Off Road" be more accurate?
Nope, not that either. TRD Off Road package on my Limited was $3580 versus $8660 TRD Rally.
What am I missing for the additional $5080?
Tri-color exterior stickers, tri-color on seats, TRD exhaust pipe/tips, TRD steering wheel and shift knob. (Although the Canadians got the last two on their TRD Off Roads.)

I know it's not an apples to apples comparison since one starts as a SR5 and the other as a Limited.
Other than the exterior stickers I do like the look, I'm just not seeing the price of the package as a particularly good value. :dunno:

Yep, this is not a fair comparison. I have a limited too and its base price starts higher due to standard features that the SR5. I imagine you have to add a bunch like the bigger screen, MTS screens/ equipment and trd axles to make up for the difference stuff that is included in the base price of a limited which is or was never an option on the SR5.

The 2023-24 SR5 would let you do a fully-loaded TRD OR for around a $9k package I believe ($61k-ish MSRP). The Rally has all of that PLUS the Heritage items PLUS the Pro steering wheel, shifter and exhaust ($60k-ish MSRP). The TRD OR steering wheel, shifter and exhaust are different. Therefore, I believe the Rally to be a great value.

The LIMITED is the best all-round value of course. However, if you want something with more style and the same capability as a LIMITED, the Rally is a great choice. If the Rally had vented seats and a digital rear view mirror, it would be the best all-around value IMO.

There are always going to be trade-offs with so many different packages but I'm still going to call the Rally a budget Pro or Semi-Pro because of its styling and capability.

Did I see you driving around Newmarket on the weekend? Saw identical truck on the road. I was getting gas so didn't see if it was plated or dealer test drive.

IMO they are much nicer in person than original photo's lead me to believe.

The value is good as well once you see what you get. It's sort of like the former TRD Sport/Offroad Premium packages Toyota offered on the previous gen I feel.

The interior seats look way better in person as had been mentioned earlier in here, they are more subtle and adds a great touch.

Enjoy your truck guys and congrats!!

Nope wasn't me... i'm in London... But i did pick it up from Bolton Toyota.

Agreed. I was originally interested in a 2024 SR5 TRD Off-Road and was prepared to pay and have the mustache and rear bumper color matched, and also upgrade the 8" screen to the 14"...
The Rally Package did those for me from factory plus a host of other extras. Overall, i'm pretty happy with the options.

Picking up Rally this weekend. Got 1.9 for 72 mo for the SR5 vs 2.9 for Limited and above which helps. This plus all the equipment for the 8k before discounts makes this a nice mid package truck. Like the off road package (dif, Bilstein, MTS) better interior, exhaust and power mirrors to get her in the garage. Can upgrade tires on next go around. Best package for me.

I tried to get a local dealer to answer the tank size question but they couldn't. It's a shame too, I liked the Rally package truck better than what I bought. The tank size was all that was holding me back. I now know.

My Rally definitely has the SR5 convenience package with BSM, a bunch of other nannies, and the larger fuel tank. However, there is no mention of those things on the window sticker.

    No seat memory on mine.

It does have the heated trd wheel, the shifter and the exhaust from the Pro.

It has the heritage striped softex seats, the decal kit, center caps, and painted mustache and rear bumper/spoiler.

The interior is totally black. I see some people painting or replacing the trim around the console, it's already black. As is the headliner. 14" screen is another plus.

Everything else is a TRD OR.

The limited would have gotten me seat memory, cooled seats, maybe the JBL sound, hydraulic cab mounts, etc.

Mine doesn't have the trailer backup mode like some sr5s do.

Overall, I think it's fantastic value. It's a special edition TRD for folks that can't/won't spring for the Pro.

Also, I'm surprised by the haters. It's just a different package that replaced the TRD Sport for 2025.
