    Hello all,
I've owned a 2016 Sequoia Platinum for about 24 hours now. I met a guy in Virgina and purchased it, drove it back home to Dayton, OH. On the way home the cruise control was acting up. (Red triangle & warning and the message "check cruise") Any advice from those with similar experience on the likely failure and repair would be appreciated. Thanks You

Check the wiring at the bumper sensor for the adaptive cruise. Those can go out with all the exposure to the elements.

Will do. That would make sense as the weak point. It won't engage even with the AC disabled, but that may mean nothing. I have already noticed it works intermittently, so I can imagine a poor connection somewhere.

Does the Sonar cruise option beep and show a sensor out while driving? The little display for it is in the center dash area.

I get "check cruise" and a red triangle. it doesn't specifically identify the sensor out. when I turn it on there's a beep if it's not working. Sometimes it works. 25%
