Fan belt change assistance

    General how to help with changing a fan belt on 2019 Tundra SR5 please; thank you

    1. Purchase new serpentine belt. Gates is fine.
    2. Study belt routing on sticker under hood and on engine.
    3. Relieve tension or tensioner with socket on long breaker bar and slip belt over pulley.
    Work old belt over fan and then repeat with new belt.
    4. Carefully ensure new belt is correctly routed and sitting squarely on pulleys
    5. Again use breaker bar to pull tensioner back and slip belt over tensioner and release.
    6. Verify belt routing and squareness - then start engine.

    Allen L-key or socket works for this as well. Makes the job a little easier.
