I’ve read so much on lighting and all the options available. My only interest is in replacing interior cab lights with LED to get more light (map, dome, doors). Not looking to do anything in the dash. Not looking to anything with exterior lights, headlights, etc.

My question is simply this, can I just replace the interior cabin lights with LED and have no concern with resistors? I don’t care if the life of the bulb is diminished, I only care if in some way it negatively impacts the electrical systems on the truck.

It seems basic enough to simply replace the old bulbs with LED since these are small interior bulbs. But after reading so much about it, it gets me to over thinking. I love my truck and take great care of it and even on something this small, I want to understand completely. Appreciate the help.
