Fueling issue

3 stations over 2 days and I can't get fuel into my truck. It trips the pump almost immediately and gurgles out. I was able to get 10 gallons in using a gas can. As I was filling with the can I occasionally had to slow down or stop bc it would rise up the neck. It seems like maybe a vent is clogged?Has anyone experienced this or know what the issue can be? I have and apt for Tuesday.

 

New to you truck or it was fine and this just started? New - yah, probable vent issue. Just started - somebody may have put something special into your filler neck.

 

It just started

 

There is an internal valve in the fuel filler neck that is opened when you press the fuel fill door opener switch in the left lower dash button cluster. It sounds as if the valve is not opening. Try pressing the switch several times and then adding fuel.

Page 223 of the owners manual has some details.

 

I don't have a fuel door release on the 2022 model. It's just a pull open.
