Hello. I am new to this forum. I am from northern quebec canada. I have a 2024 platinum with approximately 12000km. I have been experiencing some “extreme “/intensse fog on the interior of the windshield/windows since the winter has arrived. Scenario is: the truck is parked outside , No snow on the hood or vents ( wipers area), I leave the house and take the road/ hwy to go to work. The minute I start to get some speed like around 35-50 km/hr. You can the start to see the top of the windshield to freeze up. As I live of the hwy I need to speed up. But unfortunately some days I have to stop since the whole truck freezes / fogs up hard. To the point were I can’t barely see the gauge cluster. I have tried with no heat like taking off with the truck cold and the heat setting low, a/c on or off, alway with air outside not recirculating…. I have no clue what is doing this.. but it is an unsafe situation if you ask mee.
I thank you in advance for your time and help. Have a great week end all.
I hope to fix this issue as of now.. I’ m really not enjoying the experience of a new vehicle….

I imagine Northern Quebec being quite cold, how cold are temps outside when this is happening?
Is the icing on the inside or outside of the windshield?
Is that the engine temp gauge on the left side of the pic? If so, the truck isn't warmed up quite yet; does engine temp make a difference?

My guess would be a faulty/weak blower motor. OR a little critter family has made a nest in your nice warm HVAC ducting. OR your cabin filter is clogged somehow...

This would be annoying; it's hard to drive safely when you CAN'T SEE!!

You start to notice it at around -8’c/17f. It just gets noticeably worst as the temps drop. I also suspect an issue with the vents or blower, as I forgot to mention earlier the passenger window defogs almost completely as the drivers side you can’t even see the rear view mirror

I would use recirculate, high heat/defrost and maybe AC on to dehumidify. Guessing it is due to moisture content in the cabin.

Also, on the 3rd gens, if you are driving in ECO mode, I think that reduces HVAC performance.
