Any complains on ride quality with the Westcott? I hear conflicting opinions. Granted, I have the standard suspension (no AVS).

I will be going from a 2022 Limited TRDOR in Red to a 2025 Limited TRDOR in White once it lands at the dealership in the New Year [Lease to Lease]. Sure hope they improved the fit and finish, however, I had no real issues with my 2022.

I can tell you when my shop aligned it, it rode rough. I left an email at Westcott Designs and Jeff Westcott called me when I just happened to be at the alignment shop the next day. I put him on speaker phone with the tech, and it was just a small adjustment needed, but boy did it make a difference. Rides great in my opinion. That was 22,000 miles ago and my tires are wearing even. I'm happy with Westcott, for the price you just can't beat it. Hope this helps.

Can you post the Alignment specs that Mr. Westcott gave to your Alignment shop? I’m sure I’m not the only one wondering.

Sorry, they are no different than what they publish, but Jeff implored the tech to get exactly to those specs, it's like even just a extremely small variation from them makes a huge difference. Where a little goes a very long way.

That's a crazy difference in sound level. Congratulation on the new truck!

I've got a '23. I'd like to get a new truck next year but I've got no issues and the truck has AVS. AVS has exceeded my expectations and now seems hard to get.
I'll probably hold the '23 but I'm starting to get the itch.

Does anyone know the part number for the new driver's window seal to fix the wind noise? I'm wondering if it's worth it just to pay out of pocket and avoid dealership interaction (yes, this is new car world we all live in now...).

I posted the following a few weeks back on a different thread. I went from a '22 TRD Pro Solar to a '25 TRD Pro Mudbath:

Visibly the same on the outside, except for the paint color of course. Duh!

Interior looks much better with black headliner and pillars, as opposed to the Grey in the 2022.

The highways are also much quieter as it seems they have ironed out the issues with wind noise from improper seals.

New one also seems to shift much smoother, and there is no lag from elec to gas motor that I experienced in my '22.

I loved my 2022, but I am very glad I upgraded for reasons stated above.

I was wondering if the two key deals were reserved for the higher trims. Example - I got two keys immediately with both my '22 and '25 TRD Pro and my neighbor got two immediately with his '23 Capstone. My coworker got a '23 SR5 and waited almost a year for his second key.

Money talks? Sounds shitty (and annoying), but that's our brave new world.

Traded a 22 model 1794 for a 2025. This is the truck they should have built to start with. Solid, tight, quiet and engine and trans work smoother. May come apart tomorrow but I love it right now.

Anyone else noticed mood lighting is white now instead of blue on 2025 1794 Edition? I know it is changeable on the Capstone but not the 1794.

Rough Country wheel liners, mud flaps, TufSkinz gloss black tailgate lettering, JDMCAR console organizer. That’s it.
I don’t think I can change on our Platinum, either. Just bright, dim, off in white. Blue would look good.

I’m still very happy with my switch. Feels like all the little issues have been ironed out. Only been 1000 miles though. Interested to hear your experience.

What are people seeing for trade and sales values on 2023's outside the recall range?
I've got a '23 1794. 22K miles. AVS, RB's. No issues. Anyone traded or sold anything like it lately?

Not a 2023 but my 2022 limited 2wd trd with 44500 miles was traded for $39k. Had an accident too. Original sticker was $55k.

I went from an early production Magnetic Grey 22 SR5 with no options (built in Oct 21) and zero issues, to a mid year production Terra 24 Pro…which doesn’t have any major issues this far (fingers crossed it stays that way).

The one issue that I have had was fixed by a TSB ECU reflash…

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/t-sb-0085-24-related-to-random-multiple-cylinder-misfire-detected.151616/

…which at the time scared the bejesus out of me as I swore it was that “other” problem.

I happened to be leaving work which is also close by the dealer so drove it over there and they got it diagnosed/fixed in about 2 hrs (those guys over there have been nothing but courteous/responsive over the last 10 years/3 trucks that I’ve been doing business with them)

As mentioned my 22 was solid and this 24 is too…night a day due to trim levels of course so overall I am happy.

    IMG_2370.jpg IMG_8827.jpg

Pro has had some work done since these Pics (35’s, suspension adjustments, running boards, etc)

    Picked it up last night.
Apparently, electronic bed step is no longer an option.. but dealer is getting me a manual one.
Finish is much better, the noise inside is certainly lower.
Oddly enough, my the offroad suspension I have is causing my wheels to rub, so i'll need to do some trimming (didn't have it on my platinum with VSR)
Mood light is warm white - that's a wee bit of a bummer, I really liked my blue colour.

All in all, so far, fairly happy with the move.

You can’t get it with the TRD off road package. This is the main reason I traded my 23 pro for a 1794 LE.

that is correct. I do love the new suspension, though. Feels like much nicer ride than the variable suspension I had.

When I sold my 2022 TRD Pro, Carvana came in over 2.5k higher than any other dealer I checked with. All the Stealerships in my area (Wash D.C.) use the Carmax price so they all came in at the exact same offer amount.

Don't trust KBB trade-in bot either as it says one amount and then if you try to sell through KBB they don't even offer you anywhere near the amount they themselves quoted as the "average trade-in range" for the vehicle.

Speaking of moving between years.. Do you lot know if the intakes, charge pipes and sway bars have been modified between 22 and 24?
I've AFE everything that I pulled form my '22... not sure if It'll fit into my '25 :| (AFE said they don't know)

All look to be the same, but that doesn't mean much. I'd check part numbers from Toyota, if the part numbers haven't changed, you are good to go.

I didn't have an earlier 3rd gen Tundra, but my '24 Tundra Limited has been rock solid so far (no rattles, wind noise, etc.). Bought it late in 2024, so only about 8k miles on it to date. This is my first Tundra (I'm jumping over from being a GMC truck owner). I did add a couple items that Toyota should have included stock with the Tundra - front recovery hooks, and skid plate. I really like the truck, and hope it continues to be a good one.
