2022+ Tundra Lowering Kit

I’m sure it’s been asked before but by now i would’ve figured someone would have made a few different lowering kits for the newer tundras. Yes i know there’s the SOS 2/3 lowering kit for ones with rear air suspension but are there any for ones without the rear air suspension? I’m looking for more of a 3/5 or even 4/7 drop

Welcome to the forum. I see this is your first post. If this is intended to be comedy, you knocked it out of the park.

If you're truly interested in lowering your tundra, I hope you find what you're looking for. I think you may find there isn't much aftermarket support for that style though.

 

Interesting. Most here want to lift their trucks, stick on huge poked out knobby tires to pretend they are tough off roaders, and kill their MPG. LOL. That's what the aftermarket mostly offers up.

The TRD Sport trim is a bit lower, so you could get those parts and swap them out... but probably not as low as you are looking for?? But, IMO, anything lower than that would be just as goofy as the lifts I see.

I feel like lifting your truck and installing knobby tires is a misguided way to display toughness. Personally, if I was going to attempt to fain toughness, I'd start lifting weights, constantly reference my military service (even when it's not relevant or even if I had any to honestly reference), go to an MMA gym once but talk about it constantly, drink non-Bud light American beers, grill tasty meats and generally be boisterous. I suppose lifting a truck and installing knobby tires would fit in with that costume, but you couldn't rely solely on it. In my opinion, of course.

Unless you meant to pretend to make the truck tough. Then I totally agree. You definitely need to start with armor and recovery to make a truck more tough. But if your goal is just to pretend you truck is a tough off-roader, a lift and huge knobby tires is a solid technique.

Where are you located where lowered trucks are in.

 

Havent seen anything yet. I've been on the hunt for a "real" drop kit as well and no one has put out anything yet. A friend is a Belltech dealer and she hasnt seen anything yet either. Sucks, gotta wait or go custom

 

Following. I’d be happy with a just springs & shocks to lower the rear to “level” it.

 

I've only seen one example of a lowered Gen3 and it was a guy in one of the FB groups. He may be on here, but I can't recall having seen him post. I know that's not overly helpful but, as I'm sure you've seen, lowering is the opposite of what most folks are looking to do (if anything).

Following as well. I to would like to lower rear to level. I use my truck for truck things so I have airbags to level loads. I have 4x4 because boat ramps get slippery and sometimes need the extra traction. I do off road a bit but nothing crazy. I've even been considering cutting 1 or two coils off, but I would prefer not to have the stiffer rate that comes with that. Any body have any information on other models that have same physical spring shape? From what I find it looks like 4runner springs won't fit. Maybe a Landcruiser?

 

Just ordered this from Amazon. .5 inch lift on a Tacoma should result in about a 2" drop for rear of Tundra. Will post results.

3rd Gen oem Sequoia springs will lower 3rd Gen Tundras by 1" to about 1-3/4" depending on the trim. Find them on the cheap on Facebook marketplace.
