Does anyone know where I can find a video on how to replace the back window weather strip for the crew Max Tundra? It’s the only other thing I can think of with stopping the leak I’m getting in my truck that collects in the compartment area corners on the inside carpet.

I’m guessing I only need two parts 68275-0C030 and 68290B (outer sweep) or do I need all 4 parts (besides the glass)? I can’t find anything on how it’s done.

Before you dive into that, check to make sure the third brake light isn't leaking. Baby powder or talcum powder will show any leaks.

Yeah, I did that work last year. The gasket definitely was bad but it hasn’t solved the issue.

Also looking for help with this, my 3rd brake light now has a light bead of silicone along the top to help aide with water intrusion.

My 2008 has a leak on the passenger side that goes down to the jack and tools. Also strange is my rear window glass makes noise, it’s rolled up but has a rattle over bumps and such.

You can try to clean the track and gasket, blow out the drains with compressed air.

Don’t quote me but the other site had some old info about these being attached in a special way. Let me know if you find out something different please.

Can’t find anything online on even how to replace the back window sweep…I don’t even know where drains are? What and where is that?

I think I’m just going to put clear silicone between the arch gasket/sweep and truck like I did with the third light lens after replacing the gasket.
