What headlights and fogs did you go with? My housings and several bulbs are all bad and need to be replaced.

I've got the TEQ retrofits and then swapped out all the accessory bulbs with the absolute brightest bulbs I could get from VLEDS. For the fogs I've got the GXOR bracket that allows me to mount 2 3" Diode Dynamics pods... Also the brightest option they have. I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to lighting.

Long story... But *I* was the shop. Turned out to be, what we believe, were defective lug nuts. They were the right size on paper, but comparing them to the lug nuts that were pulled, that were the same size, they were noticeably different and weren't grabbing enough threads even though they were hand tightened down and then torqued to spec. Apparently there was enough gap that they wiggled around and pushed the lugs off. After sending pics to Custom Offsets, where everything was purchased, they refunded the lug nuts after claiming they must have been defective :frusty::goingcrazy:

The GX. Looks like I'll most likely be ordered a Lexus Remanufactured transmission on Monday for, hopefully, a smooth swap.

A750 transmission in these? Those are usually pretty solid.

I grabbed a set of the new Terra Grappler G3's on sale. Been wanting to try them out. My tires are down to about 10% left.. Still got a bit to go but taking the GX skiing at the end of January and wanted to make sure I had some freshies by then. Now hopefully nothing else breaks between now and then.

Her first off-road outing. New Years Crowd has already taken over the gym. Good thing I've got this beast so I can park.

More fantastic news from this money pit. Motor is being pulled this week to re-seal everything.

Seems excessive to pull the motor, where's it leaking? Hope all goes well.

To get to the spot it's leaking from currently the proper way is to pull the entire subframe and it's a 14hr job according to that system that shops use and he's concerned that if he just fixes that leak it'll end up leaking somewhere else (as it already has). It's just a few more hour job to completely pull the motor and re-seal everything. I'm very close with the shop that's doing it and he knows how anal I am and that I plan on keeping this thing forever and doesn't want to just fix the one leak to only have it potentially leak again in a few months. He's going to go through absolutely everything while it's out and see if there's ANYTHING else he thinks I should do while we're in there too.

Definitely do the exhaust manifolds at this time. They are notorious for leaking, mine does.

From the gasket or the actual manifold?
