I recently got an '06 DC and put Billy's on it on the 4th notch, which got me 2 inches up front ( with the stock springs). Everything feels fine except the dust shield is rubbing a little while turning. Then I noticed the other day the LBJ is contacting the steering stops? (Yes those are Moog from the previous owner, and yes I have brand new OEM ready to put in.) I don't think this was happening before changing the struts. The LCA's are also Moog from previous owner. I'm planning on re-doing the front end soon with JBA's, OEM LCA's, OEM LBJ's, OEM TRE's, etc,
And I'm wondering if this will continue to happen after I make those changes? (Don't wanna bash up the new LBJ's.) Alignment was done by an experienced 4x4 shop, and done to DJ's specs.
    Has anyone experienced this?
(Yes, I'm running on borrowed time, yes I'm replacing the LBJ's ASAP. Been saving up more parts.)

That is really odd. I've never seen that and I'm trying to imagine how that would even be possible.

The LCA looks funky with that protrusion that gets hit but I don’t own a double cab so apples and oranges.

I've never noticed this on my '01 AC, so maybe it has to do with the moog LCA's? I've got my parts stacked up, just waiting for some decent weather to knock it all out. The AC is actually up first for the full front end redo, but both need LBJ'S asap. I'll take a peek under the AC Tomorrow and see if the steering stops/LCA's look the same.

That's what's also weird, I don't see a corresponding mark on the steering stop, or anywhere else underneath it..

Pretty sure this red circle on the left is supposed to contact there, the red circle on the right.

If you turn it full lock and there’s no contact with the scrape you pointed out originally, it looks like there’s no problem or at least anything that will get worse.

The same mark is on the other side, but not as bad. That makes me think it's not just a fluke from hitting a rock or something, and that it has to be happening while turning or driving.
It was raining like crazy here today, so I didn't wanna crawl under the trucks, but I'll have my GF turn the wheel for me while I look tomorrow.
