Many of the threads about adding a transmission cooler mention adding a factory thermostat as well. In a warmer part of the nation (Louisiana for me) is this necessary? is it possible to over cool a Toyota transmission in warm weather?
    Thanks

Most of us are pinning our transmission cooler thermostat open.

I can't think of ever reading were the transmission was too cool in wam climates. Cold climates, there were a few replies about not warming up.
