I have a 2023 Sr5 and have this issue, Toyota knows it's an issue as I have been in communication with them (Customer Care) and my local dealer. They issued an entire new break set for my front brakes which I am waiting on now for 5 months, the claim is there on "back order". I've had this issue starting shortly after 3 months of having the truck. It's very annoying.

Dropped my 24 off today for first service and the brake issue. Service dept said the TSB fix wasn't working and they are looking for another fix. Anyone get this addressed and is it still an issue?

I guess I would ask, are they using the revised part numbers?

I’m about 3 week in on the backlog waiting and waiting..

My 2016 Platinum with 50K just starting do this same thing after brake pad and rotor turning done at the dealership. They claim they never had this issue. Never had a problem until the front pads were replaced by Toyota of Greenville. Took it back and they cleaned everything and it went away for 1 month and then it has returned again. They also left 1 lug nut totally loose hanging on by 1 thread, ugh...

Went to local dealership here in Tulsa and got the "We can look at it and order the parts from the service bulletin, but Toyota is not sending the parts." So basically I just wait and live with my truck sounding like I have metal rubbing on metal.

My ‘24 SR5 does this in the morning sometimes. Rear brakes when I back out of my driveway.

My wife had a ‘10 RAV4 back in the day that was awful with rear brake squealing, but it also had many more miles.

My truck has 1,200 miles. It does it when I back out of my driveway in the morning, but when I drive 5 miles up the road to drop my daughter off at daycare, it doesn’t do it when I back out of that driveway. Who knows.
