Traded in the Taco with 206k on it. ran like a champ.

Rolled this Tundra off the lot in Durango with 3 WHOLE miles on it.

Headed to Mexico and thinking about ways of projecting it/myself.

    Welcome.

Word of advice, don’t take it to Mexico.

No real choice. Headed to San Carlos for a couple months. Fairly safe all the way around.

    Best advice so far is
    1) app scans your vehicle for trackers
    2) pay a bit more for the full coverage insurance
    3) dash cams
    4) get it muddy and dirty
    5) don't drive at night

Just a little context, but I’m married to a Mexican and even her family won’t drive their vehicles down there. 4x4 trucks are the number one target of carjackers. If it isn’t them messing with you, it’s corrupt officers tossing your truck for “contraband”. Not saying it will happen, but nothing you have listed there will prevent that.

Unfortunately, the US government has very little resources or ability to help or do anything if the aforementioned happens.

I recommend using the Department of State’s travel advisory service. They give OK advice on which roads and areas to avoid. Stay safe and don’t trust anyone, especially the police.

Oh and Merry Christmas , happy holidays. Hope it all works out for you!
