1st thing I'd do is check between the rotor and backing plate, pretty common for crud to build up in there if your muddin it.

Talked to my dealer today. Don’t feel like it was important to him to fix it. Are there good aftermarket pads I should just get and do it myself?

Got this TSB done yesterday. While mine was never excruciating, it was getting more frequent. I didn’t even have to prove it, my SA just ordered it all and got it done with the fuel tube fix. Unfortunately not all service departments are equal.

So you're just going to take that as the answer? You're going to spend your own money to fix a known problem that other dealers are fixing for nothing? Do you eat the plain pizza when you ordered and paid for a pepperoni?

How are they doing brake jobs for regular customers if the parts are on back order.

They said there was dirt in the groove of mine and soaked the pads in anti squeak lasted one day now squeaking again. Our dealer is a joke. We live on dirt roads. If this is truly the way it’s going to be. I guess us and Toyota won’t be friends anymore.

Like it has been said, it's a TSB. The clips Toyota use are supposedly what causes the issue. The fix is the old style clips from the previous Gen.

Print the TSB linked to earlier in the thread. Take it to the service advisor, tell him their “fix” didn’t work, and ask them to do it right.
If you need to, run it up the management chain.
I can’t believe how there is such a difference in dealership service departments for known issues. I have had nothing but great service at both my local and original purchase dealerships that is 45 minutes away.
I took my truck in for its 4th oil change and tire rotation in 2 years the other day as they had a $49.99 special on. I mentioned the lift kit they installed needed upper ball joint greasing as it was not a permanent sealed type.
    (Readylift SST)
They had the senior tech that had installed the kit, grease it and go over the entire lift kit. He checked and re-torqued everything.
    Final bill was $49.99!

That’s a good service department. Rock springs service department is a touch lacking. I will print the tsb and see what happens next.

Company truck is down. I have been driving my Tundra for two weeks now daily. The brakes haven't squeaked any. When I let it sit a week before driving they squeak little ways then quit. So, I am thinking mine is because little rust an it sitting all week long.

My 23 Pro is my company truck and use it a bit to drive on the project. I only get squeals after it sits for a few hour at times and more so in the mornings.

Brakes on my 23 haven’t made a peep since the TSB was performed on my truck a month ago. Used to squeak in the morning when backing up out of driveway and the first forward stop.
Not always, but most of the time.
