I'm looking to upgrade my halogen high beams to LED along with doing a HID retrofit for the lows on my 2011. Anybody use the VLEDS 9005 V Monochrome series for the highs? If so, which lumen bulbs do you have? I'm sure even the V25 (2500 lumens) will be an upgrade, but I'm wondering if the V35 (3500 lumens) and V50 (5000 lumens) might be too bright for highway driving?

If you are going to do a HID retrofit, just use the high beams from the projector. That will be enough

I bought the v50 after seeing a video of the light output. I’m in the middle of doing a retrofit and will use the v50’s for my high beam. I’m constantly having to drive dark country roads and hoping between the retrofit lights and these high beams I’ll be able to see any deer before they get in front of me!
