I love me some spicy! That Apollo is from "The Last Dab" and is around 3 million Scoville. It's damn good though. Stay far, far away from that little black one. The End, and it's at 12 million. I don't touch that one.

    Secret Santa struck again...
Another cool BBQ sign and a Stanley flask and shot glass set that will come in handy at T2S and when smoking some pork buts and briskets.

    My turn...

So, first off... quick apology to my Secret Santa on a delayed post as I had some unexpected 'family stuff' to deal with, and so I have been mostly away from the house and very short on time the last couple of days (IE>> No forum time) :(

Now to the fun part, and I've got to say this was definitely a fun package to receive....

Ok, I'll start w/the personal note...

    SecretSanta2024-1.jpg

I'm thinking my wife would agree w/yours if I was to do something like that. The message made me laugh, and I appreciate you taking the time to articulate such an appropriately clever Christmas message

    Okay, on to the loot...
    SecretSanta2024-2.jpg

    I'll start w/the Redbreast 12 ...

So, for those that haven't had it, it's one of the most unique offerings in the various Irish Whiskey line up. It's a single pot still offering that is developed under the watchful eye of the master distillers of the Midleton Distillery. Now while Jameson is also a pot still Irish Whiskey, here is where Red Breast takes a unique turn... After being distilled, it will spend 12 years maturing in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The sherry casks are what give this whiskey a highly distinct appearance and very unique tasting notes and aromas.

Many Irish resturants and bars will have it on the menu, so if you have a chance, I'd suggest giving it a try for a very unique experience

PRO Tip: If you're trying it for the first time, please don't throw it in a mixed drink. It is intended to be enjoyed 'as is', preferably neat w/a very small amount of distilled water dropped in to open the whiskey and allow it to breathe. I'd suggest sampling the various flavors, aromas and colors it provides over progressive increments of 5 minutes (out to about 20-30) of it being poured into an appropriate glass and allowed to 'open up'...

Next up... pups toys!!! Buddy and Liezel say thank you very much for including them. I gave Buddy the black ring and the red Kong went to Liezel, she was following me around as I carried the box to the table once I had opened it. I'm not sure what it is about the red Kong smell, but that gets her going every time!!!

Next up... molle panels!!! So, it took my dumb ass a sec (more like a few minutes) to figure out where they were meant to mount.

I had googled the model # on the package and got nothing. I thought maybe visor; maybe just below the center console (kinda where the knee rides)...

then my wife said, 'what about searching Tundra Lifestyle maybe that has something to do w/it'...

Me: 'Woman, stay out of this you have no idea what you're talking about. It's not like that's a company'...
Well crap... it looks like it is in fact a company and 99% sure that's where they came from...:crapstorm:

So, yes... turns out Tundra Lifestyle (did not know about that website) is a thing and these are molle panels for the sun visors. Those will be put to good use

Next up is the Wurkkos PRO EDC light... Finally a 'flat' light that doesn't roll around on the table. But, hang on a minute... this little thing is seriously cool!!!! It's got a green laser, white flood light, side RGB lights, a magnet on the bottom, 1200 lumens and up to 70 hrs of run time!! Impressive little light.... I'm pretty sure I could make traffic stops w/it

    https://youtu.be/JpS3zWUcFlc

...and last but not least a large pack of PNW slaps!!! BTW the wife already snagged a handful of them for a new water bottle she just bought!!!

I can assure you... the entire gift will be well used (and consumed :D), and I sincerely appreciate the thought and effort you put into it!!!

    Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!!

Well I'm pretty sure my Santa killed it this year! Just got these 2 photos from the wife. And now I have a double shift in front of me so I won't know what else it is until late this evening. My mind blown, considering I already got a good haul from Santa.

ICS phone mount came in for the Rago SS gift. Pretty impressed with how stout they seem.

Got the short arm (3.5"?) on this one. Have another set with 5" arm coming in. Hopefully going to get the trailer camera up there.

I'm humbled by the kindness of my Santa this year. In my second wave of gifts I received a sticker pack of rafting and paddling paraphernalia. And the star of the show was in the Hotshot Offroad box, which had both MeSo customs lights included. A huge thank you also goes out to @memario1214 as well, for his contribution of free shipping and offering a smoking deal at the close of the recipient assignments. Again, humbled and grateful by this group on the forum.

SS did great this year! Some very useful items in my package. Picked up the package today. Looking forward to learning about the radio and how to use it. Enzo my dog is thankful for his gift as well. I’ll post a pic of him with it tomorrow. Thanks again SS!

I thought my SS was done, but apparently I was wrong. I walked onto my porch at a brisk 37 degrees... and yes, that matters to us down here because that is fn cold!

Anyway, I see this red envelope laying on porch and the mail man driving off like Santa caught in the act himself...

When I opened it, I immediately put it back down and walked away. My wife grabbed it, read it, and said "this forum group really is bunch of good people huh?"

Wow... over and beyond! Thank you!

Besides the amazing generosity of my SS, one of our vendors played a role in my gift. Thank you both!

Because of your SS I just ordered one of those lights..
I don't need it, but it's so cool I bought one.
The dogs like to chase the laser in the backyard, maybe Maverick will see the green one better than the red we have now..
