I purchased a set of VLeds V25 Monochrome Seriies Dual Color White / Yellow 9006 9006 H10 9145 9140 to replace the factory fog lights. When I connected them together I noticed that they wont’t stay snapped in and doesn’t make a positive connection. I was wondering if they made a coupler that I can use instead of cutting and splicing the wiring harness. First picture is the OEM socket and the 2nd picture is VLeds pigtail. 3rd & 4th pictures showing them connected together from different sides

On your 3rd photo. There is that tab. It should be on the other side where the lock/unlock tab is on the oem wiring.
If you flip them and they lock in but the fog wont turn on. It is because the polarity on our truck are reverse. That is why it wont lock in or stay lock when you push them together.

just like on your 4th photo. You should be able to read the “+” and “-“ on the same side as the factory lock/unlock tab.

So you have a choice here. You can de-pin the factory plug and switch them around. Or leave it as is and use zip tie or electric tape to secure the 2 plug together so they won’t come apart. You can’t depin the vled plug because it’s solid 1 piece as you can clearly tell.

I tried both ways, they do stay on if I hold them together with some force behind the connectors.

I remember my diode dynamic ss3 fog was also pretty tough to get clip in. Had to use some muscle to push them together. They stayed just fine.
