Has anyone had any luck making a led dtr/signal/ park light work properly without the hyperflash?

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
A resistor will help that and use up just as much energy as the Non-LED bulb you replaced it with - sort of ironic.

Or you can simply not use LEDs in turn signals - no other LED bulb placement hyperflashes - simple solution.

Yes. You have to install resistors to make the truck “see” a higher line load. Very simple install.

My tacoma drl lights were burning up / melting the lenses badly, so wanted led to reduce the heat. Did not like the massive amount of heat produced by the 6 ohm resistors. In stead, tore open the flasher module and shaved material off the hoop style resistor. Had to shave 3-4 times to creep up on the right size, but works well. You can find instructions and discussion over on tacomas. Flasher modules are the same I believe or at least very close.
