New Cooper Road and Trail or Toyo Open Country AT3

Just put set of u/t Goodyear 's on 16 tundr. 3500 miles already been back for re balance. Doesn't feel as solid on snow/ice,feels like truck is riding on top instead of through crap!

 

You check into Nitto Recon Grapplers 55000 tread life warranty, I believe that's what I'm going with on my 23 TRD Sport

 

I bought the same size and went with Nokias Outpost nAT. I was going with TOYO and the tire dealer talked me out of them. Glad he did as these look great, ride smooth and quiet. Note: I don’t carry a lot of on board weight in the box, but I do tow in excess of 5000lbs often. I also speed a lot lol

 

We got the Toyo's on our Jeep and they're fantastic in the rain.

 

How are these working for you? Can you post some pictures?

 

Very happy with them so far. Have had plenty of rain here in Florida since putting them on and no slipping for me.

They have also been great on slippery boat ramps.

I will say that while in Blue Ridge mountains in Georgia over the summer we rented a house with one hell of an incline and while raining the tires spun a bit.

Honestly though based on the crazy incline I think any tire would have spun a bit. With 4wd however it became a non-issue.

Like the looks, like the performance, lost 1 mpg, maybe a tad bit more.

Just ordered these in factory 18s. Had varying versions of Coopers on my other vehicles and had no complaints.

I'm replacing 5 yr old Wildpeaks on 20's that were fine but were slipping in slight snow even with 6/32nds life left. The age probably started playing a toll on the rubber. I wanted to try something more road friendly but still looked aggressive and had 3 peak rating for MN's winters.

 

Very happy with mine thus far!

 

Going in today for install.

 

do they say made in USA like the 4S were, or did they china them out after they bought Cooper?
