Large Five Layer Performance Air Filter:
This 8” tall 360-degree radial flow air filter features our pre-oiled Pro 5R media with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. It provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air and delivers the highest power gains in most cases. This media is perfect for street use.

Sealed Housing:
The included air filter is surrounded by a XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing with a black powder-coated top that minimizes warm engine air for maximum performance. An additional auxiliary air inlet brings in additional air.

Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube:
This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable.

Hassle-Free Installation:
This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications. All necessary clamps, couplings, and hardware are included.

Residue is from Gorilla tape I put over the port that was letting hot air in from the engine compartment.

How is the engine noise? I have a AEM Cold Air and while I love the noise when not towing, it is loud and constant towing my 6000 lb travel trailer.

 

Just checking in on this. If you consider taking less, let me know. I am curious about noise.

Also, does it use the plastic vent in the passenger side fender, or is it a short-ram air intake?
