I have a 2017 4WD Toyota Tundra SR5 TSS package and I'm looking to exchange my stock rims and tires for something that will give my truck a wider, more aggressive stance. It has a stock stance so the wheels and rims are flush with the fender and the truck sits 2" higher in the rear. I'm not sure at all what I'm doing since this is the first time I'm doing any lift work on my truck. I don't know what the difference is between a lift kit and front leveling loaded struts. Right now I have a set of Atturo Trail Blade M/S 285/55R20s. Not sure what the wheel offset is but it's stock. I'll have to peak behind the rim and look. I believe the tires i have are 33" but I'd like to throw some 35x12.5s on there and keep the rim size. I considered 18s but I don't want the wall to look too fat and bubbly and with the tires that I have on there now they look to slim so I figured 35s would look just right. So my question is, if I want the wheels to sit about an inch past the fender with 35x12.5 tires, what kind of offset would I likely need and what would you recommend my minimum lift total to be (after leveling) with little to no rubbing. Also should I save the money and keep the stock control arms or should I also add a new set of UCAs to accommodate the lift? Thanks for any replies!
