Lifted, 35 BFG radial all terrains
After 3 months of waiting I finally made the decision to sell my truck. Toyota had not come thru on all the parts and were going to remedy mine with a short block not long block which really didn’t instil my confidence. It was not an easy decision as only had 39,000 km on it, lifted it with BFG radial all terrains. Loved the truck design, the interior but not the drivetrain and with Toyota wanting $5k for a 200k warranty I decided to take my hit now and move on. The dealer was great as always, it’s a bad deal for them too & outside their control. My dilemma is now what to buy. Hearing issues with ford, dodge and even GM. Know 1 guy dumped a low km 1/2 ton Duramax with bad engine last spring, 2 guys with blown low km Duramax 3/4 tons in the last few weeks. Not cheap trucks to have those issues. Guess drive my old stuff for now ☹️

Good luck out there. Current crop of trucks is suspect. Might get a good one, might get a heap.

I had to go with a Nissan Titan, which I never thought I’d do. NA V8, no cylinder deactivation, no start-stop. 100k bumper to bumper warranty, not just powertrain. I’ve got 18 trouble free months in on my 2023, no complaints. Get the last of ‘em while you can.

Titan is Gen 2.5 Tundra tech still. If the 2.5 was still available, it would be a safe choice too.

Yep, i was cross shopping the Titan when i picked up my Tundra. If my Tundra was totaled tomorrow, i'd have no issue ended up in a Titan. A bit less aftermarket support but they are great trucks (Better than tundras is some ways, such as a fully boxed frame, available real locking rear diff). Interior space in the back is a bit less, their big cab back seat offers only a few more inches of legroom more than the tundra double cab. They even have the XD which has the big bed with their big cab and real payload numbers.

8” BAMuffler, TRD airflow accelerator, front window tint/windshield sun stripe, debadged tailgate 4x4 emblem, trimmed mud flaps, antenna removed stainless screw added, TRD rear sway bar, AFE high flow air filter.
New Frontiers are solid. For ‘25 you can get a long bed on the Pro 4X.
