Replacing my CV axles and seals. The driver's side went without a hitch, pulled old axle and seal out, replaced with new. No play afterwards, which is ironic because all the threads I read on here talk about the driver's side being the issue.

When I went to do the passenger side, the CV axle was extremely difficult to get out. Once I got it out, I replaced the differential seal, and popped the new axle in. However, once the axle was in, there was a significant amount of in/out play. It's coming from somewhere in the diff, because the whole axle would move in/out about 1/8 of an inch. To my knowledge, this wasn't happening before. Not sure if I damaged the bearing in there (part # 90363-47002)? I also don't see why the driver's side would have no play but the passenger side would have a significant amount of in/out play. Perhaps I damaged something internal when removing the old CV axle?

Would be great to get any and all feedback. I removed the replacement CV axle just to inspect the inside of the diff, nothing looks off to me.
