Let's start with using periods after each thought to separate them. It's hard to read one long run on sentence and stay interested. Next step, take it back to the dealer and report all of the issues and give them a chance to remedy them. Sounds like three issues that may or may not all be related. Give em a chance.

Ok, I have a 2024 Toyota Tundra, and it has a lot of issues. I bought it just a couple of weeks ago, and it has ultrasonic collision detection issues, transmission problems, and a charging battery issue. I've got a ticket open with Toyota. Has anyone else had these issues? This is the 1794 model. Please, if anyone can help with what to do, I got the truck with 171 miles on it. That's a lot of test drives to me! Or did some worker use the truck and then put it back on the lot? I want out of this truck and into another one. I am asking Toyota to buy it back at the price we purchased it for. I'm confused and angry at the same time. I was told they fixed all the issues and that the 2024 doesn’t have any problems that the 2023 did. However, we are experiencing some of the recall issues. A big one is that when I put the vehicle in drive, it jumps around 2 to 3 feet on its own when shifting from park to drive in normal mode. My concern was that if someone was walking on my sidewalk, could I have hit them? It would have been a small tap, but still enough to hurt someone. My reaction was quick to brake, but the small jolt or jump—whatever it was—was shocking. I did have a longtime, 20-plus year employee of Toyota drive the vehicle; he was curious as to why it was shifting sluggishly and slightly slipping. At that time, I believe there were around 800 miles on the vehicle. In any case, I need some help on how to get out of this vehicle and into a new truck. I preferably don't want to deal with the whole song and dance of fixing all these issues. As a consumer, I feel I should be able to experience the new vehicle purchase and only have to go in for an oil change, not all this. We are so upset with this purchase; we paid in full, and that’s a chunk for most of us. If anyone can help with this, please let me know. Thank you all.
    Ok there sorry about that

Better, now take that thing in for warranty work and let them fix the issues.

We have an appointment with them. The issue is it's brand new. Don't feel it's fair to keep it when it wears out on the whole vehicle. Who knows what could be damaged. They fix one problem, then another. Possibly to look at later. We just want a complete different vehicle at this point

Sorry to tell you but that will not happen. You have a laundry list of complaints. Car hasn't been seen for the same issue and not solved 3 times nor has the car been in the shop over 30 days. Good luck though

    Give the dealer a shot.

There are requirements for buy back, They are slightly different in each state but somewhat close. Search in the web for lemon law in your state and see if you qualify.
Otherwise, if you like the vehicle, give the dealer a chance. Some of them good, if you do not like the vehicle, trade it in.

"we are experiencing some of the recall issues big one is that I put the vehicle in drive it jump around 2 to 3 feet on its own from shifting from park to drive in normal mode"

I'm not sure how this could happen. In order to put the truck in Drive you have to hold down the Brake. With the Brake pressed the truck shouldn't be able to move.

I would call your local Better Business Bureau
That's too many issues at once on a new vehicle
One or two minor issues, then take it for warranty work
    Car jumping in Drive?
They should give you a new truck or your money back

Any of these issues go to dealer for warranty work. If they dont fix it correctly after a few tries then you have a case for a lemon law. That will require a lawyer to get that done.

I get that purchasing a vehicle and then having it serviced is less than a great customer experience.
That being said though the vehicle isnt like a toaster that you bought at walmart. Its titled and registered to the owner.

BTW, no business owner gives a rats ass about the BBB. They would call me and I would just hang up on them. They remind me of a bunch of women on Facebook sticking their nose into something they know nothing about

    1. Take it to dealer and have them fix it.
    2. Trade it for another.

It is that simple, you have to have documentation of you taking the vehicle to the dealer for issues and them not fixing said issues. Easy Peasy!! Good luck

AI uses punctuation. Maybe it was voice dictated? whatever it was, it's a mess of logic.

When I punch it into chatgpt to get it to summarize that run on sentence into bullet points we arrive at:

    • Purchased a 2024 Toyota Tundra with 171 miles on it, a model they were told had resolved issues from 2023.
    • Truck has multiple problems:
      • Ultrasonic collision detection issues.
      • Transmission issues.
      • Charging battery problems.
    • Vehicle shifts roughly (2-3 feet) when moving from park to drive, raising safety concerns.
    • A Toyota employee noted sluggish shifting and slight slipping when driving with 800 miles on it.
    • Owner feels they should only need to service the vehicle for routine maintenance, not constant repairs.
    • Paid in full for the truck and is upset about the issues.
    • Seeking advice on how to have Toyota buy back the truck at the original price.

FYI, Toyota is not a member of BBB, so, no point calling them. DA or lemon law attorney

Hello all, thank you all for your input when I first typed this I voice text. I don't like to text so it did not do any type of punctuation. Now I fixed it on my phone to where it will give punctuation or it should also to know they are working on giving me a new vehicle and trading this one back in like a swap. The dealer said that they will not deal with it that they'll trade it in but they'll give me less than what we paid for so now we are dealing with Toyota
