Raptor Lined Truck?

Been looking for a 1st gen tundra for a while. Finally found one that checks all the boxes but it was raptor lined 3-4 years ago.

Talked to the owner for a while and he supplied me with pictures of the truck being sprayed in a spray bay at a paint shop. So I know it wasn’t a half a** job. Said they sanded the body with 320. Said it’s been outside in the sun since it was done and no fading, chipping or flaking. Has taken it in light off road trips and brushed it up against branches and no scratches/chips

Anyone here have experience with raptor lined trucks? Concerned it would start to chip or fade in the sun and white wash

Resale is somewhat of a concern as well since this won’t be a forever truck

 

Most don't buy 1st gen's for resale. They buy them to go far away places knowing that the truck will make it there and back.

Just curious what the sale price is of the truck? Miles and year as well? Is it much lower than other tundra's in the same condition? Answers to these questions will tell you if it has hurt the current resale value of the owner selling the truck right now.

 

I used Raptor liner from Amazon on my bumpers and bull bar on my chrome bits 2008 worked great and lasted three years then it needed another coat applied to touch up some areas. Good luck. D
