Hey all, been benefitting from the forum for a couple months now. Love all the conversations.

Had a 90s Nissan D21 hardbody (V6) when I was first married, but it got totaled right as we had our first kid. After more family functional cars for the last 15yrs, I just gave my civic to my 17yr old and my brother in law gave me his Tundra. It has 207k miles on it but he was a gearhead and kept it in phenomenal condition. Right before he gave it to me he replaced the timing chain and timing chain tensioners. Aside from the mods in my info, he modified the exhaust and added wider towing mirrors (makes 4-way stops a bit interesting but no desire to change them).

Love being back in a truck. I don’t get to use it for what it can do much though. I have a desk job and my 4 kids are runners (year round) so we don’t camp/explore/do as much as I’d love to.

Recommendations welcome for mods I’m thinking of:
    - TRD style grille and lights
    - runners
    - hard folding bedcover w/ bed rack/cage
    - bed line back or whole body
    - touchscreen stereo
    - others?

Not looking to do anything insane, but would love to update the look and add to what it can “do”.

I’ll keep scrolling through threads but open to ideas. Thanks!

Not rude at all! It was on my mind for sure. Is there any magic in finding the right upsize to fill it up more but not create problems when turning? I was thinking of widening the wheel base at some point as well - would that need to happen depending on the new tire size?
