I have a friend that has the rims in the first pic with 35x12.50r20 mts on WITHOUT spacers, I have the limited wheels in the second picture, from what I understand they have the same offset, my question is if they have the same offset and width of the rim, i should be able to run a 35 tire without it rubbing the ucs just like he did right?? hopefully someone can weigh in, he said its close to the uca but does not rub and has had them maxed out and never rubs.... opinions[IMG]

The Search function is your friend...

AFAIK, 35x12.50 is going to rub somewhere at some point unless you are strictly street and don't turn sharply in to parking spots or uphill ingress/egress. it will be close to the UCA - closer than most are comfortable with - but on a stock wheel should have the better chance of learning everything else.

285/65R20 is about the same size as most 35" tires, being a little over 34.5" tall, but with with a narrower tread width that should clear no issues. A popular size 35 around here is 285/75R18 which his a truck 35, but obviously for an 18" wheel and not a 20" wheel. It is basically the same width as the size I mentioned but a tad taller.

If your friend's wheels are the same offset and wheel width as yours, they should fit the same. If the wheel width is different but the offset is the same, they will not fit the same since offset is measured from the wheel center line.

ok I'm not worried about it rubbing on the mudflaps ive ran 35s before and have adjusted everything in the way already, I'm just worried about it rubbing the upper control arms, I've ran a 35 on my wheels but with a wheel spacer because I was told by basically everyone I asked and everyone said it would rub the uca, but today I was proven wrong.....the reason i ask is because a local shop is running a deal $60 off for 35x12.50r20 ..... really like the look of the 35s as well so now I'm torn, I originally was going to run the 295/60/20 but they are 340 more so now I'm torn
